Recording a Consultation
Vision Anywhere for iOS has a dynamic data entry bar which can be used to add clinical terms, medication and common observations such as blood pressure.
- Select a patient, see Searching for Patients if required.
- The Patient Summary screen displays, select Add
to start an Encounter, see Opening an Encounter if required. - The dynamic data entry bar displays, enter either:
- A single character to trigger common observation quick entry form, see Adding Common Observations for details, or
- 3 characters for either a drug or clinical term
- You can search for either a clinical term, drug or a data entry form from the list, select the term you wish to add.
- Record notes and select Add
to save.
Note - You can add patient data whether online or offline.

Note - Any data added whilst offline is stored and uploaded back to Vision 3 automatically when you next login to Vision Anywhere whilst online, providing the encounter has been closed.
Open encounters are saved to your device and not accessible from any other setting.
